Mechanical System Types

The term ‘mechanical’ refers to Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) components.  Some of the commonly used systems in today’s buildings include, but may not be limited to, the following:

  • Packaged A/C systems
  • Split-system A/C systems
  • Water source heat pumps
  • Ground coupled geo-thermal heat pumps
  • Chilled water / Heating water fan coil units
  • Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems
  • Multi-zone Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems
  • Dedicated Outside Air Systems (DOAS)
  • Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERV’s)
  • COVID Virus reduction technologies, such as UVC light and ion generators

Our engineering staff is more than willing to review all equipment and system options with you to maximize effectiveness, conserve energy/operating costs and fit well within the structure of your project design and budget.
